She was a strange creature. I would send her my paintings for approval, and she would return them with overlays instructing me where to make corrections. Apparently I failed to do so with adequate cheer, so she threw a little tantrum and called me ugly names. Then she blocked my messages, apparently assuming that I’d stalk her in a desperate bid to win her back.  Of course, she didn’t start hating me until I had given her the gift of this picture.
