fullerart: Strawberry Sunrise Here’s Ruby once again. When I first saw the photo that inspired this painting, I immediately thought of Andrew Wyeth. The palette and subject matter were exactly right for Wyeth, and the country-girl pigtails reminded me of Helga, Wyeth’s mysterious muse. I considered creating the painting in the style of Wyeth, but I ran into an embarrassing problem: I don’t have the talent for that. Ouch! I switched to Plan B, and here it is. Not as good as Wyeth, but less expensive.
